一. Check whether the type and specification of mechanical seal of slurry pump installed is correct.

二. Check whether the dimension precision, geometric precision and interrelationship between slurry pump and mechanical seal installation are in accordance with the technical requirements. There are mainly the following aspects:

1. Radial run-out tolerance of the shaft (or sleeve) installed in the mechanical sealing part, surface smoothness of the shaft (or sleeve) and tolerance of outer diameter.  

2. Vertical tolerance of the sealing chamber and gland to the center line of the axis (or sleeve) at the locating end.  

3. Install the end part of the shaft (or sleeve) of the moving ring seal ring, and install the chamfer Angle and finish of the end part of the shell hole of the mechanical seal.  

4. Axial displacement of rotating shaft under mechanical seal when working.  

三. During the installation of mechanical seal, it shall be kept clean and shall not be allowed to strike the sealing element with tools to prevent damage and damage.  

四.When installing, the surface of the moving and static rings shall be coated with a layer of clean machine oil and turbine oil. The auxiliary sealing ring (including moving ring seal ring and static ring seal ring) shall also be coated with clean machine oil or turbine oil before installation to ensure smooth installation.  

五, the static ring seal trap after static ring back, in sealed inside the end cover, should pay attention to not hurt the static ring end face, to ensure the static ring end face perpendicular to the center line of the end cover, and pay attention to the static ring back anti-rotating slot to stop pin, but can't contact.  

The rotating part of the mechanical seal shall be fixed by two fixing screws and shafts on the spring seat. When tightening the fixing screws, the working length of the spring shall be ensured.
