What is the submersible slurry pump, what are its features? It is a new type of slurry pump developed in recent years to meet the needs of customers. It is suitable for the most widely used slurry pump in the market. Different from the traditional horizontal slurry pump and the slurry pump under the liquid, the slurry pump can be fully immersed in the liquid during operation. Besides transporting the conventional slurry, it can also be used as a diving sand pump on the ship.
In order to better understand the slurry pump, we will explain it from two angles: submersible pump and slurry pump
What is a submersible pump first
Submersible pump is an important equipment for deep well water extraction. When used, the whole unit submerges into the water to work, and extracts groundwater to the surface, which is domestic water, mine emergency, industrial cooling, agricultural irrigation, sea water lifting, ship load adjustment, and can also be used in fountain landscape.
The basic parameters
Including flow, head, pump speed, supporting power, rated current, efficiency, outlet pipe diameter and so on.
The submersible pump set consists of control cabinet, submarine cable, hoisting pipe, submersible electric pump and submersible motor.
Main applications and applications of submersible pumps
This includes mining, construction and drainage, agricultural water drainage, industrial water circulation, drinking water supply for urban and rural residents, and even disaster relief.
The main classification
For the use of media, submersible pumps can generally be divided into water submersible pumps, sewage submersible pumps, and seawater submersible pumps (corrosive).
Submersible pump installation
1. Vertical use, such as in normal Wells;
2. Oblique use, such as in inclined roadways in mines;
3. Horizontal use, such as in the pool.
The main meaning of visible diving is that the whole pump can be immersed below the liquid level. By understanding the diving pump, we understand the meaning of diving.
What is slurry pump
Slurry pump is a kind of machine that converts electric energy into kinetic energy and potential energy of the medium by means of centrifugal force (the rotation of the impeller of the pump). Mainly applicable to: mining, power plant, dredging, metallurgy, chemical industry, building materials and petroleum industries.
Under the action of centrifugal force, the liquid is thrown from the center of the impeller to the outer edge and gets energy to leave the outer edge of the impeller at a high speed and enter the volute pump shell. In the volute pump housing, the liquid slows down due to the gradual expansion of the flow passage, and then changes some kinetic energy into static pressure energy. Finally, it flows into the discharge pipe with high pressure and sends it to the required place. When the liquid flows from the center of the impeller to the outer edge, a certain vacuum is formed in the center of the impeller. As the pressure above the liquid surface of the storage tank is greater than that at the pump inlet, the liquid is continuously pressed into the impeller.
From the above definition, we can see that the main characteristic of a submersible pump is to submerge the liquid, and that the slurry pump is mainly to transport the solid liquid mixture or the slurry. Therefore, it is natural for us to understand what a slurry pump is.
Why is there a slurry pump
The development of the submersible slurry pump is to adapt to the increasingly complex working conditions and to facilitate the use of users, it has a more flexible use mode.
In addition, it fills a part of the blank in the application of slurry pump. When the depth of the slurry is deep and there is no good slurry outlet, that is to say, when the traditional slurry pump cannot be installed and run, the diving slurry pump can supplement this part of blank working conditions.
What advantage does the slurry pump have
1. Flexible installation, no need to install fixed bracket and other auxiliary measures during operation;
2 scope irreplaceable, diving slurry pump, vertical slurry pump fluid commonly under maximum working depth of 1.8 meters (via our continuous research up to 9 m, but running unreliable), when more than the depth, the fluid under the operation of the slurry pump will have certain reliability, failure rate increased obviously, but now on the basis of the sealing technology of submersible slurry pump maximum working depth 25 meters under the liquid;
The structural characteristics of the slurry pump
1. The pump and the motor are coaxial;
2. The pump and motor are sealed as a whole;
3. It belongs to a vertical pump in terms of its structure.
Also because of the above characteristics, the price of the submersible slurry pump is higher than that of the general slurry pump, because of its strict sealing conditions, so the cost is relatively high. |
